UPSC IFS Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in at the very least one of the subjects, namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology Mathematics, Physics Statistics and Zoology or an undergraduate degree in Forestry, Agriculture, or in Engineering

Paper 2 of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam will qualify the exam with the minimum qualifying marks set at 33 per cent.
